These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BumpReminder (the "Service") — a Discord bot and related website operated by MrShveyk ("we", "us", or "our"). By adding or using the bot on a Discord server, or by using any website or dashboard we provide for the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date below will change, and material updates will be announced in our support server.
1. The Service
BumpReminder helps Discord communities track bump-related cooldowns and send reminders. Features may include configuration in Discord, optional web dashboards, and integrations with third-party bump services. The Service is provided in the form offered at any given time; we do not guarantee that any specific feature will always remain available, free, or unchanged.
2. Discord and third parties
The Service runs on Discord and may depend on Discord's APIs, third-party bump listings, and other services we do not control. Your use of Discord is subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Discord's or any third party's availability, policies, content, or conduct.
3. Eligibility and server responsibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, and in any case at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required by Discord or your local law). If you invite the bot to a server, you represent that you have permission to do so — for example, as an administrator or with the consent of the server owner — and that you have the authority to bind that server's administrators to these Terms.
Server administrators are responsible for the configuration of the Service on their server, for the messages they instruct the bot to send, and for ensuring that use of the Service complies with applicable law and Discord's rules.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, spam, defraud, or harm others, or to violate anyone's rights;
- Attempt to probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with our systems, or bypass security, rate limits, or access controls;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Service, except where applicable law forbids that restriction;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service, or build a competing service from it;
- Use the Service for illegal activity or in a way that infringes third-party terms or intellectual-property rights.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if action is required for legal or safety reasons.

6. Free service and future paid features
The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may, in the future, offer paid features or premium plans. If we do, separate billing terms (price, taxes, refunds, renewal, cancellation) will be presented to you before any purchase, and no charge will be made without your explicit consent at checkout. Free features may continue, change, or be limited at our discretion.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and brand, is owned by MrShveyk and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
You retain ownership of the content you provide to the Service (such as custom messages and settings). By providing it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service.
8. Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and, if applicable, signing out of the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate the Service, your access to it, or specific features, at any time and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms or for legal, security, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, intellectual-property terms, and miscellaneous provisions — will survive.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, ERROR-FREE, FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT REMINDERS WILL ALWAYS BE DELIVERED ON TIME OR AT ALL. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN BACKUPS OF ANY CONFIGURATION YOU CONSIDER IMPORTANT.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MRSHVEYK AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by agreement.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MrShveyk and contributors from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, your configuration of the bot on a server, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages of Discord or third-party providers, internet failures, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, or government action.
14. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) with or without notice. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this site; continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give reasonable advance notice through the support server or in-product.
15. Governing law and disputes
We try to resolve disputes informally first — please contact us at [email protected] or in the support server before taking any formal action.
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's place of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought in the courts of competent jurisdiction at that location. Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory rights, including consumer-protection rights, available under the law of the country where you live.
16. Miscellaneous
Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior arrangements on that subject.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
